Save a Life Day 2010

The American Red Cross has provided lifesaving training for more than 91 years.

On June 5, 2010, 85 students will have the opportunity to earn Adult CPR certification and work on automated external defibrillators (AEDs) at no charge. Classes will take place at the York and Adams County offices on June 5 from 8:30 PM -12:30 PM.

Registration is required and is based on a first come, first reserved basis with limited space available. This free livesaving training event is part of a national initiative to encourage states, cities and towns to establish organized programs for providing CPR training and AED awareness.

Each student will receive take home materials and be able to purchase 4x4 First Aid kits, key chain, CPR masks and other Red Cross merchandise.

The Save a life day will be held at the Gettysburg YWCA  8:30am-12:30pm

Throughout South Central Pennsylvania, more than 700 people are being offered the opportunity to become Adult CPR certified at no charge.
