The History of the Lady Liberty Limited Edition Print

Lady Liberty was created by local artist Brenda Wintermyer from the study of one of a series of original oil paintings of five skyscraper icons purchased by Architectural Testing, Inc. of York. ATI, Inc. is an area firm that conducts quality assurance testing and product performance evaluation for the construction industry.

In the year 2000, Henry Taylor, President of ATI, Inc., commissioned the pieces to commemorate the significant role of the corporation in the construction and/or renovation process of the selected structures-the glass windows in the crown of the Statue of Liberty are one of the many products tested by the company.

In August of 2001 with the permission of ATI, Inc., Brenda submitted the study of Lady Liberty into a contest sponsored by Triangle Printing to promote their newest printing technology. 500 color prints were created from Brenda's winning entry.
