Bilingual Instructors

The York-Adams County Chapter conducted a series of classes for bilingual community members, fluent in English and Spanish, to become certified First Aid and CPR Instructors.

Graduates are qualified to teach Adult/Infant/Child First Aid and CPR/AED in Spanish to church members and members of other organizations. Bilingual instructors make it possible for those who would like to learn First Aid and CPR but who would find it difficult to learn in classes taught in English.

On June 12, nine individuals graduated from the first class of bilingual instructors certified to teach First Aid and CPR. Funding for the classes has been provided through the generosity of anonymous donors.

Pictured are members of the first graduating class of certified Red Cross First Aid/CPR/AED instructors who are proficient in teaching lifesaving skills in both Spanish and English.
